The seasonings for three takeaway classics, a classic doner, a spicy shish and a minted kofta, plus full recipes. You add the lamb.
What meat do I need?
Fresh lamb: minced lamb for the doner and kofta, and diced lamb for the shish, about 500g per batch.
How do I make a doner that carves like the takeaway?
Mix the seasoning through the minced lamb, shape a tight loaf, cook it through, then carve it thin with a sharp knife.
How many people does it serve?
Each recipe feeds two to three people.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. Each recipe is straightforward and the booklet walks you through doner, shish and kofta.
Can I make vegetarian kebabs?
The kit is written for lamb. The spice blends would flavour a meat alternative, but the recipes themselves are for lamb.
