Kits for Education
We're launching a pilot of a new program to provide DIY food kits to schools completely free of charge. The kits will allow students to understand the history, techniques and science behind some of their favourite foods. We're aiming the packs at GCSE level, but there's nothing to stop younger or older students having a go too!

Mozzarella Cheese Making Class
This big box of goodies Includes ingredients and equipment for a whole class to make mozzarella cheese from scratch. The students should work in pairs.
The pack contains enough ingredients and equipment to make 20 batches
Each pack includes:
- Vegetarian Rennet
- Cheese Salt
- Citric Acid
- 20 x cheese cloths
- 20 x instruction sheets.
To make the cheese your students will each need:
- 4L fresh whole milk
- Thermometer with a scale of at least 0-100ºC
- Measuring jug
- Saucepan with at least 4L capacity
- Slotted spoon
- Access to a hob
